New Shelter Construction Update

The new expanded shelter, Good Steward Adoption Center & Dog Park, is well underway with a projected opening date in September. Following is the February 13th construction progress report: The rainy weather has slowed us down, but the site rough grading is complete, and the building pad established. All concrete footings and interior piers are installed, and the perimeter block up to floor level is in and grout filled. The secondary power under slab rough-ins are complete and we are about 70% complete with all the interior under slab plumbing rough-ins. The storm pipe and structures are approximately 70% percent complete and the water meter has been set. We hope to have the slab poured by mid-March. Check this site for monthly progress updates.
